I couldn't agree more... this is one of the best moderated lists I've
ever had the good fortune to join!  I keep all my FML digests saved,
because I think they're an excellent resource - in large part because
the list is well moderated enough to maintain the overall quality of the
content.

Personally, my comments were directed towards the listmember who
forwarded the hoax message to the list, not to BIG in any way at all.
I quite genuinely wanted to suggest some resources that the poster may
have found helpful in preventing the spread of such nasty rumours in the
future (also thereby saving our hardworking moderator the trouble of
editing such submissions).
 
*Most* people who responded seemed to have same intent in mind when they
wrote (and I don't recall anyone wishing anything painful or unpleasant
on the original poster either!).
