The vascular constrictors are used sometimes with PSS near the liver.  I
do not know if anyone has used them on a ferret's vena cava.  In therory
it should work, but I would try to remove the tumor with the lateral wall
of the vena cava.  Then suture the vena cava to repair the removed area.
If the tumor is large then anastomosis of the vena cava can be done.  I
use vena cava ligation as a last resort.
