I have been attuned to Reiki levels I and II for about three  years now.
 
I do self-treatments and also treat the animals. The cats ask for it.
 
I also, this year, had two ferrets distantly attuned and one of the cats.
Conan the Toebiter was attuned and he got energized for several days.
Lol.
 
Miss Sugar Magnolia also got attuned and it calmed her down considerably.
She is a rescue who has always been tense.  Now she has decided to sleep
on the bed some.  I am amazed at how much she has turned into a Momma's
baby since the attunement.
 
Connor the cat also got attuned.  He is a very sensitive cat and I
thought it might help to balance his energy some.  He has also asked for
treatments.  And I was right, he just loved it.  Now when I am upset or
sick, he comes and gives me treatments.
 
Reiki is a really wonderful thing.  There is a group on yahoo for it
called Reiki_On.
 
BTW Judith, your site is really beautiful.
