Hi to all,
well I'm out on sick leave for 3 more weeks, my heart is still not working
right, and they upped my antidepressants so now I feel like a zombie. My
left hand has hardly any feeling and is very weak, I'm a devout lefty. so
heres where I need help, I have been trying to do my cages and it takes me
3 days to get them dome and then I'm so tired I can't do anything else.
My left arm and hand are pretty much usless as I said before. My ferrets
cages and their little ferret nails desperatly need to be done. If anyone
can come by and help me out on Sat, I would be so grateful. Even if is for
just a little while. Please call me at 876-8224 if you can help. I know
I've been asking a lot latley but I don't want to give up the shelter, I
know I'll be back on my feet again hopefully soon.

I also have a pair of old guys, bald as can be, I have already done their
surgeries, I would be willing to give them up to a great home. I hate to
see them here forever, they are so loving and silly as can be.

Also Sandee, I had a ferret come in Friday night, she died after being here
less than an hour. I was told she was found in a back yard cornored by a
dog. She was bleeding out frank blood and her body was cold, I knew all I
could do was make her comfortable. The necropsy showed trauma, her abdomen
was filled with frank blood also. Since I didn't know her name I named her
Jane Doe. Please look for her, she was a lost baby.

Yesterday, I had to euthanize an old friend, his name is Blue, because of
his cataracts he had. He was dropped off here late one night with another
ferret, Smokey. he had major heart trouble and I had to help him over to
the bridge, he was a fighter and probably would have stayed around in pain
if I had let him. He is at peace now.

One more thing my last brain damaged kitty i took in had to be put to sleep
last week, Josh loved the ferrets, but he started seizuring and was past
the point of me being able to save him. He is the first "brain damaged
cat" I could not save. He will be happy with all the ferrets up there.

Well its hard to type with oone good hand so i'll go now, take care to all,

CJ
