Hey DC area folks.  Unfortunately Pam Troutman Grant can't keep her shelter
open right now.  So please feel free to contact us about helping rescue
ferrets in the DC area.  We will help or be able to get one of the other
shelters in the area involved.  There are plenty on both sides of the river.
Hopefully Pam can re-open her shelter soon.  We aren't the largest or most
centrally located in the DC area but the among the more accessible on-line
at this point.  Pam has been THE main DC area shelter for quite a while and
is sorely missed.  We wish her well and will help out as we can.

After filtering innuendo they do sound rather minor.  If the violations
hadn't been minor MF would have been shut down by the USDA - I've seen them
do that.  The page master referred to is the main source of anti-MF
rhetoric; most arguments were first stated in his writings.  I do not like
much about MF but still refuse to attack with what seems dishonest at some
level.
