The NH Ferret Owners Coalition is holding a meeting this coming Saturday,
April 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Merrimack Public Library.  Anyone interested
in finding out more is encouraged to attend.
 
This is a non-profit organization who was instrumental in passing
legislation in NH regarding the quarantine of ferrets for rabies when a bite
occurred, as opposed to the prior legislation that stated a ferret was
euthanized and tested for rabies when a bite occurred.  NHFOC also organizes
events to raise money for NH ferret shelters.  Meetings are now held
quarterly to plan for upcoming fundraising events.
