Hi,
 
I just got a call from Pam at Performance Foods regarding their new Shelter
Diet.  Apparently they are having some sort of "quality control problem"
with the batch that was sent out as a 20# sample to our shelter and
probably many other shelters.  If you have received a bag, PLEASE
DISCONTINUE USING IT AND THROW IT AWAY.
 
Thankfully I haven't opened mine yet.  If you have any questions, you can
reach Performance Foods at 1-877-545-5462.  She was pretty vague about the
exact problem with the food, but I asked if it was rancid, and she said
"probably something like that".  Please be careful.
