Just wanted to let you see some of the other unique things that will be
available by raffle or silent auction at Cascade Ferret Network's Ferret
Appreciation Day and Open House this Sunday in Portland, OR. You don't
have to be present to win or to bid, if you are interested, contact me
to find out how.

Besides the wonderful "St. Francis and the Ferrets" statue
(http://www.cascade-ferret.org/fad/kitty.html),
there is an original piece or artwork by Erin Bishop
(http://www.cascade-ferret.org/fad/erin.html).
The piece is called "Cosmic Ferret". It is one in a series of nine
wonderfully unique ferret images created by Erin Bishop for the Cascade
Ferret Network that capture the whimsical, magical, and mischievous
nature of ferrets. A shelter ferret was the model for this celestial
weasel peaking through a crack in the cosmos. It is hard to represent
the original adequately with a photo graphic image, there are a lot of
3 dimensional aspects to the artwork that don't show up unless you can
see it in person from different angles. All of her images are also
available on T-shirts that can be ordered through our web page
(www.cascadeferret.org) and on greeting cards.

Another item available for the first time is T-shirts with an original
design created by Jeff Mulcaster, an animator working for Vinton Studios.
The design is called "Robo Ferret". Shirts can be ordered through our
web page, but there will be one on a lime colored shirt auctioned on
Sunday.

A third original piece that was donated features a wild ferret relative,
an ermine (http://www.cascade-ferret.org/fad/ermine_A.jpg).
