The discussion on Lupron and adrenals has many interesting aspects, but the
most intriguing may be how very clearly it illustrates the elusiveness of
being able to evaluate adrenal diseases (both benign and malignant) in an
OBJECTIVE fashion. Obviously, this is a difficulty which seriously needs to
be addressed. This is not a moot point since it affects treatment choice,
treatment veracity, educational reporting of the diseases and treatments,
prognoses, and even studies of treatment options.

Mish, when there's a complete bilateral or there is great suppression of
adrenal(s) resulting in no adrenal products being available for use by the
ferret's body Florinef is a useful medication. Usually, though, a small bit
of tissue is purposely left in to fulfill the functions.
