Q: Vitamin E as preservative

I was wondering if you feed your ferrets with food preserved with vitamin
E & give them vitamin supplement such as Ferretone, they can get an
overdose of vitamin E?
 
There as been lots of posts about other types of preservatives and I would
like to get information on the possible drawbacks of natural preservatives.
