In response :
 
1) Skunks: My girlfriend had one as a pet that was descented.
     She said it was a "good little skunk".  It was a great pet.
     It liked to be held and petted and it didn't bite.  As to the
    interaction with a ferret .. Hmmm .. I'll be awaitin' the
    results of this one.  Ferrets and Ginnea <sp> pigs get
    along though!
 
2) MF ferrets - I've read all the comments about MF in
     the FML lately and I also read MF's response.  I think
     enough has been said and let me echo the thought and
     we can put this one to rest .  IF YOU WANT TO GET
     A FERRET, THEN FIRST YOU SHOULF SEEK A SHELTER
    THEN A PET STORE AND FINALLY ALTERNATE SOURCES.
 
3) ALT.PETS - Anyone who can get alt.pets can also subscribe
     to the FML  n'est pas?  So lets not duplicate efforts.
