FYI - the Oct. 14th (?) PEOPLE magazine (with the "CSI" cast on the
cover), had a two page article on author Richard Bachman (Jonathan
Livingston Seagull author), and brief mention of his new FERRET
CHRONICLES series of books.  I believe this article starts on pg. 149.
There's a great photo of Bachman with about 4 of his 9 ferrets crawling
all over him.  He discovered ferrets while visiting friends who had some
as pets, and was hooked.  He speaks about his perception of ferrets being
intelligent, fun-loving creatures.
