Hello, one and all!

To anyone who read about Tyler lately, I have some bad news. He's already
taken!!

Unlimited thanks go to Dana <[log in to unmask]>, who kindly
and generously drove Tyler more than 80 miles to his new home!! Whenever
you're in the neighborhood, please stop by and check in on him. He's happy
as a beautiful ferret boy could be, and we've fallen head-over-heels over
him already.
He's already taken his first tour of the house, and he and Frank
took to each other immediately. They look a lot alike, too! He prances
around like he owns the place. After he's had a chance to get used to us,
we'll introduce him properly to the rest of the business! I think they'll
get along fine.
He's got a water bottle, but I was curious if he'd like a bowl
better. Hah! He told me! He bubbled in the water for a moment, tasted it,
then walked around to the end of the bowl and promptly turned it over with
his nose! He was very careful to pour it *out* of the cage, too! This is
one smart critter!
I've given him every opportunity to bite me. I've picked him up
repeatedly, begged for kisses, (none yet. he's not that kind of ferret) and
even tickled his belly. Once, when I "pounced" on him playing, he whipped
around and *just* touched my hand with his mouth open. Cool! Other than
that, and that's nothing, he hasn't shown the slightest sign of aggression.
He patiently lets us pet and admire him (ferret patience? Riiight!) and
doesn't complain when it's time for bed.
Is that a blue dot in his ear? I've read about the dots. Since all
of mine are "homegrown", I've never seen a tattooed ear before.

Well, I still miss Peeper, but Tyler's a big hope for the future.
Thank you again, Dana!

See y'all later!

Jimbo...
