    Susan, there is no time table for this, and unfortunately, some ferrets
never get the mobility back again.  Teh msot important thing is to make sure
that she gets enough to eat - as long as she is not getting enough - she may
continue to mobilize muscle mass for energy, which will worsen the problem.

    Sure could.  Most ferets will show some symptoms, but in some it may
be so mild, that unless you know EXACTLY what to look for, you may totally
miss it.  Or they may have been sick months before they came to your house.
