Ferrets from Massachusetts shelters will attend (with the shelter
operators) two Adoptathons sponsored by PetsMart this Saturday, October 17,
11 am - 3 pm.
 
You can view some of the ferrets who are looking for a good home up
close and personal, and the shelters will have lists of additional ferrets
in shelters and foster homes around the state.  While the ferrets will not
be able to go home with you directly from the Adoptathon, you can select
your new buddy and fill out an adoption application.
 
If you are interested in helping out with rescue and foster care, this
would be a good opportunity to talk to the Massachusetts Ferret Friends
volunteers who do it now.
 
The two locations in MA this Saturday (11a-3p) are:
 
-- PetSmart in Braintree: Take Route 3 to Exit 17.  PetsMart is in the
large shopping mall near the exit ramp.  The store phone number is

-- PetsMart in Danvers: Take Route 128 to Exit 25B.  At the end of the
ramp, take Route 114 West about 2 miles.  PetsMart is across the street
