Several interesting articles from the July-August issue of the Independent
Voice are now available on the Web at the Ferret News Kiosk web site,
http://members.gnn.com/AcmeFerret/news.htm.  Among them, an update on
Black-Footed Ferret recovery efforts this year, the Ferret in Navajo
tradition, a book review of a recent Guide to Ferreting by England's leading
Ferreter (it's major culture shock!), and a "how-to" article on Ferret
Toothbrushes.
 
On the LIFE page, notices have been posted regarding new clubs, shelters and
coordinators for the League (http://members.gnn.com/AcmeFerret/lifepage/).
 
I am also continuously adding new material to the Rabies Information Bank,
which is accessible from the LIFE site, and would appreciate anyone who
knows the Web locations of additional ferret/rabies related documents or
resources to let me know so I can add a link.
 
Finally, I've had a number of interesting conversations over the last 2
weeks with people in policy positions on the rabies issue around the
country, and will be posting an update on this subject within the next few
days.
