I want to thank everyone that has sent mail on the two problems i posted
about this past week.  Update on Frosty, my starved fellow...  he has put on
6 ounces already, is settling in well and got a clean bill of help from the
vet.  He has discovered that Ferretvite is good stuff, and now has the same
reaction to the tube as the other guys, who are jealous that they don't get
as much as he does.  He has had no problems with the other ferrets, they
have accepted him completely.  Frosty even initiated a wresting match with
Shadow this morning.
 
The biter....  henceforth to be known as fury.  Being the holiday season and
hectic all over, i am reluctant to try and place her elsewhere, even with a
more experienced ferret person.  I have developed a tentative plan of attack
to deal with her problem, and i intend to devote the next month to taming
her down.  If i have no luck, after the first of the year i will be in
search of a home for her.  I will be keeping her indoors...  she has always
been an outdoor ferret, but i think the constant exposure to ppl will help
get her over some of her fear.  Handling i am going to approach very
slowly...  i think the next week or so will be devoted soley to visiting
with her through the wire, and picking her up after her free time.  She is
to get a treat after each outing....
