I just had a call from a woman in Wichita who found a sick ferret at a
pet store.  The pet store refused to give her the ferret although she
promised to take it right to a vet, and she did not have the $50 that
they wanted for it.
 
If anyone out there can help I believe that it is a female, white, very
thin and weak, ferret at Exotic Pets in Andover.
 
I have misplaced the contact information I had for the kind person who
rescued the ferret last week in Wichita.  If you are still out there and
can handle something like this I can send you the young woman's phone
number.
