Now that Kato is back in the fold-(he's with best buddy, Casey) We took the
traveling ferret show to the vet's.  (There are only 7, but they said they'd
never seen so many ferrets in one place at the same time!  Must not get
around much!) Anyway, Karat is 5 1/2 now, and has a slight discharge but no
swelling like she used to get-and the doc says he's pretty sure he can feel
lumps in her now.  She'd have to go up to the vet school in Athens for a
real workup and surgery.  She acts just fine, only kind of toothless and
slow.  (Just joking-kind of saddened by the inevitability of all this!Trying
to avoid thinking about it.)
