Hey ya!  Our celebrity auction at the Shammy went ok despite the snow
storm we had that night.  We were able to raise a little over $400 and
this total doesn't count on the eBay stuff we auctioned off as well!
 
The shelter took in 3 new kids this week.  All three are cage mates and
all three have Adrenal Disease.  One is quite advanced and will need
surgery right away.
 
Mandrake had some great news this week!  He went into the U of Guelph to
have an echocardiogram and more x-rays and his heart is NORMAL!  He does
have what the vet called a chronic infection but it should be cleared up
with the two antibiotics he was prescribed.
 
On a sad note, mommie talked to auntie Kim this week.  Her little Rogue
passed away on the 19th.  mommie asked me if i would check on her and let
auntie Kim know how she was.  WELL, let me tell you, Rogue has become the
popular little girl up here.  She comes to every one of my ferretone pool
parties and she is quite the social butterfly!
