There is only one magazine I subscribe to to experience holiday joy year
'round.  The office brings in several dozen magazines.  I don't have time
to read most of them except for those that deal with animal issues.  I get
these so that I can donate money, and learn about the plight of animals.
I write letters.  I make calls.  I try and make a difference.
 
There is only one magazine that I get that is just for me.  That is my
Modern Ferret magazine.
 
I am usually too busy to read it when it comes in.  I see it and know it is
there.  But I cannot do anything about it.  I am like a kid at Christmas
each time--waiting for the moment to open my present.  I cannot tell you
the rush of happiness that wells through me.  It really is-no kidding-the
highlight of that day.  It leaves an aftermath glow for days to come.  It
is my personal high.
 
There are two other papers I receive that also significantly move me.  One
is GCFA and one is The F.A.I.R. Report.  There is knowledge to be gathered
here as well on our beloved ferrets.F.A.I.R. has been printing info asking
readers to write letters for important ferret causes.  It discusses
diseases and signs and treatments.  It includes stories, upcoming events,
and sells ferret supplies.
 
Payment for these reports then allows you the honor of becoming a member
and receiving your own reports every two months.  You can advertise here,
post a birthday of a ferret, or a poem, or write of the passing of your
baby.

Are there other publications out there from other shelters that I can read
about please??  What does your newsletter include?  How much is it??  What
is the address we send money to so we can belong??
