I'm going to be brief because I don't know what to do and I want resposes as
quickly as possible.
 
Can you please tell me what might make a baby not be able to go to the
bathroom?
 
He keeps trying over and over and whimpering but he can't go.  He's running
around to every corner but he cant go.
 
Last week I noticed urine on his belly and he seemed to pee right after
getting out of the cage not even in a corner but I just thought he was
excited to get out.  Now he can't go and I'm really scared.
 
He has lost a lot of hair on his back lately but not around his tail so I
thought it was just summer shedding.
 
Please respond privately as I am on the digest and won't get it until
tomorrow.
 
I realize he may need a vet but that may be more difficult than it sounds.
 
Please, any info would be appreciated.

[Moderator's note: Since this just missed yesterday's FML I contacted Max
about this already.  The ferret has since gone to a vet, but of course, I'm
sure Max wouldn't mind any further hints about prostate trouble in ferrets.
