Many, many thanks to Bonnie for offering to match donations to the
IFC/ELF fund for the Ohio ferrets!

Another person, who wishes to remain anonymous, was motivated by
Bonnie's generosity to offer a similar matching program. This person
will match up to $500 donated to IFC/ELF/FERRET to buy collapsible
cages that will remain the property of the IFC, to be reused in future
emergencies.

The IFC has purchased a number of collapsible cages from Martin's Cages
for this purpose. The cages are being sent to Lori's where they will be
labeled as Property of the IFC/FERRET. They will be provided as needed
to people who are taking ferrets to other locations around the country.

The recipients will be responsible for taking care of the cages and
storing them when they are finished with them until needed for another
emergency, then sending them on.

We see these cages as a shared ferret community asset. It's a novel
concept, and we hope one that will work well!
