Well, first let me thank all of you who have been so kind as to answer my 2
previous quandries. You have been very helpful! I am really learning alot
from this newsletter, and the moderator does an excellent job.

Well here is the new problem. I recently told you all about Powder, the
ferret we got from the pet store. He is approximately a year old. He
seems very quiet most of the time but he has a habit if biting, and I mean
vicious biting! You will be holding him and he is very content, but then
out of the blue he will attack and bite into you and shake and do a
crocodile roll kind of thing, he will also be running around the house and
just run up to you and attack your ankle. We have tried time outs, spray,
scruffing and other things, but it seems to be getting actually worse! I
am at my wits end, we have 2 small children and I can't trust him to be out
when they are up, so he has been getting out only after they are in bed.
Anyway, someone suggested having his canine teeth filed down so he can't
bite as hard. I would like to know what your thoughts are on this as I
don't particularly like it too much. What do you suggest? Please don't
flame me I am only asking for opinions!

Thanks.
Chris, Powder, Fred and family!
