I have also been struggling with my gates. I'm not very handy and don't
own many tools, so I hesitate to try making one myself. Also, we're
living in a rental home at the moment, so I'm looking for a solution
that doesn't require attaching anything to the walls. I bought a First
Years All Clear baby gate
<http://www.amazon.com/First-Years-Clear-Swing-Gate/dp/B0000DBHHR>
that I thought would be the perfect solution - it snaps in and out like
a regular baby gate but has solid clear panels where most baby gates
have ferret-climbable stuff. However, my tiny little girl figured out
that she's small enough to squeeze between the gate and the wall. Does
anyone have any suggestions for non-permanent gates that I can either
buy or are VERY easy to make?

Jess
