Does anyone know what regulations there are on transporting ferrets from
the US to Germany and what agency/dept we should contact? A member put
in for orders to Germany and would like to take her 3 ferrets with her if
possible if the quarantine isn't too long. She is stationed at Fort
Riley in Kansas and unfortunately that base is anti- ferret - she'd like
to go to Ft. Meade. :-) Dr. Williams would you be willing, when you
have time of course, to help me work on Ft. Riley? The Fort vet is very
anti-ferret and I've had personal dealings with her on a dog bite case in
housing so she isn't fond of me either, and I'm ONLY a civilian, which
she was quick to point out. Hugs to all. tle
