I'm sorry but I can't seem to find the original post, but this is in reply
to the person who had an overweight ferret that has been lethargic.
 
I'm in a similar situation - I swear my ferret's about 5 pounds - and I
just got off of the phone with my vet.  She's very concerned that he might
develop fatty liver disease and wants me to bring him in for a checkup
ASAP.  In any event, I just wanted the person who had the same problem to
see this and take action with his/her own ferret.
