As I sit here wasting another Friday evening waiting for another person who
just had to come by on Friday night, the only night they could make it to
come look at and adopt a ferret from our shelter.  Its now 8 p.m.  they
were suppose to come by at 5.  I canceled all possible chances of actually
enjoying this evening in hopes that this person who called me seven times
over the past two weeks, basically drooling through the telephone at how
bad she just had to have a ferret is obviously not going to show up.  But I
thought I did everything right this time.  I made her call seven times,
spoke with her about Ferrets to make sure she was not a flake, that she was
for real, and that she, unlike the other flaky people who waste the very
limited and precious time shelter operators have.  But alias, I was duped
again.  OH WHEN WILL I LEARN.
 
Just curious, how many shelter operators have experienced this.  Don't need
to elaborate and unless you are an actual shelter operator, please don't
comment.
 
Just venting off another wasted evening.
