While at the Ferret Buckeye Bash last August, Bob Church gave a very
interesting lecture that included instructions on how to make the nesting
boxes. When I arrived back home the next day, I promptly sent my husband
on a search for the materials. We made one out of a dark blue storage
container, I think it is about a 30 qt. one, then got the dryer tube and
duct taped it in. This gave me a box with a removable lid for finding
them at night when it's cage time for them, also removing their bedding
to wash it. (They're free roam otherwise). Put some sleep sacks and
blankies on the bottom, and now my babies all love me forever! They
would also love to meet Bob sometime, to show him their appreciation
and undying adoration.
