I have tabulated up the votes and the contest is now closed.  There are a
LOT of spoiled ferrets out there.
 
I will be contacting the first through third place winners via e-mail for
their snail mail address so I can send them their prizes.  There was a four
way tie for 6th place, and a four way tie after that, so I will only publish
the top nine (9) stories since I could not determine a clear winner for spot
10.
 
the top nine stories will be reprinted over Thanksgiving weekend - something
to give thanks for and relate to our friends while we are with out human
families.
 
I had fun doing this - maybe again next year.  the top 9 will be printed in
the next issue of STAR* Ferrets, due out mid December.
