Has anyone else noticed that nearly 1/3 of the posts lately end in "please
don't flame me?" or "go ahead and flame me, my delete key works".?

I personally haven't recieved any flames (private or public) regarding
anything I've posted, even though there were times I thought for sure I
would.(Maybe everyone just ignores me :) )

It just seems such a shame that members of this list are afraid to post an
opinion, observation, or even a cute story about thier little ones without a
reliable fire suppression system.

How many of the "lurkers" become lurkers because of this?

We (by "we" I mean the ferret community in general) are an astounding group
of individuals (aside from our obvious good taste in pets). Please allow me
to elaborate; How many people do you know in every day life who;

1) will rouse themselves from a warm bed on a cold night every three hours
to force feed thier ill pet? or better yet, an animal that is a stranger
to them?
2) will dedicate the equivelant of another full time job to taking care of
the cast-aways?
3) will fight the seemingly endless legal and beaurocratic red tape just for
the smallest of concessions that most pet owners take for granted?

The list could go on and on. The one I like best is; 4) how many other pet
owners are so well versed in "poopology"? (Seriously!, you know you talk
about it too!)

My point is a simple one; We are dedicated, caring, patient, tolerant and
intelligent people who have a common bond which has brought us all together-
Love of ferrets. Would it be so difficult to extend the traits we share
towards one another?

Ca-Ching!!! (.02 in the bucket)
