Someone posted a few days ago asking about a food called "Carnique". The
food is very high in protein and fat, and mostly beef based.

I would be concerned about the levels of taurine in the food. Taurine
occurs naturally in chicken, and most ferret and cat foods either have
chicken as a main ingrediant and/or have added taurine. I don't believe
there are sufficient levels of taurine in beef for ferrets or cats.

If you want to use Carnique as the primary diet, check for added taurine,
or get a supplement.
