is it too cold in the house?

we just set our winter thermostat for a chilly 61F for during the day and
at night (I'm in Michigan).  the ferrets have hammocks up off the floor,
as well as flanel bedding on the floor (on top of stuffed cat beds).  is
61 too cold for them?  also, they are 5 and 7 years old and showing no
signs of any issues, I just wanted to be certain.
 
(it's too cold for me but I don't have fur :-)  )
