Well, I sent a Thank You note to the one judge who had the courage to vote
for Kodo's reprieve, then sent faxes to Martha Fitzhugh and the Governor
after hearing the bad news, expressing my dismay over this whole debacle. I
don't suppose that M.F.'s position is an elected one, but I assured the
governor that if he ever aspired to a higher office that required nationwide
support, he'd be hard put to find it. I know they think we will all forget
about this in a week or so and it will be back to business "as usual". I
still can't believe they did it.

My husband was telling me he heard on the radio that a family from Norway
had flown into CA with their ferret and were met at the gate by the CDF&G,
who proceeded to confiscate their ferret. Haven't been able to find out any
details. Does anyone know? Time for another batch of letters to the
senate.

Linda
