Ok, I've been lurking for a while but it seems like this guy/girl finally
got me to start posting (there's at least one good thing coming out of
his/her posts)...

To answer your question, yes I feed my ferret restaurant food... Whenever we
go out (usually every weekend) to eat, I always think of Trouble and bring
him back a doggie bag of what's left of my steak (since I'm usually full
after a 5 once steak but most places we go to serve 10 onces at least). And
yes, I'm sure the meat is good... We live in Omaha, NE, home of the greatest
steaks in the USA... And yes, the meat is usually almost rare when I get it
(restaurants aren't allowed to serve it rare anymore but if you ask for
medium-rare, most places around here will serve it just coked enough that
there's no blood coming out of it when you press on it but still bright
red).

Trouble is always happy to get these as treats and has never gotten sick
after the numerous times I've done this... Neither have my dogs and cats
that I've had in the past... I'm just a caring mommy who really loves her
ferret and thinks about him, even when I'm out... On the other hand, I'm
happy you're not my fuzzbutt's hooman owner.

Michelle, Scott & Trouble (Please mommy, go out tonight and bring me some
more treats) :)
