Dearest SAraFerret, I am turning my little boy, Scooby over to you now
to take care of so would you please watch out for my Scoobers?, He is
probably getting to you right about now. His legs haven't been strong
for a while now, so he may need your help to cross the bridge. Scooby
fought so hard to live but he finally lost his fight at four oclock
this morning. He had so many problems and now he is finally free.
I have sent him with him, his Halloween scarf I made for him and, his
bowl with some doggie foods in it. Oh how he loved those pieces of
doggie food!!
Like I said, Scoob fought hard to live, even though I told him all
about you and how great it is at the bridge. I kept telling him that it
was ok to go, but he kept fighting. He was not in pain ( or he was too
brave to show it).he finally just drifted away, so he is probably very,
very tierd. You won't miss him when he comes because he has the most
beautiful fur, (well what's left of it.) He is the color of golden
butterscotch pudding.
Scooby has been my permanent foster boy for a long while, about 2
years. I gave him all the love and spoiling that I possibly could.
Scooby lost his cagemate while he was at the shelter and was too sad
and scared to ever accept any of my kids as friends so he has been
alone in his home above my other fuzzies. Please help him find his
cagemate.( I can't recall his name right now, I'm too upset.) Oh he'll
probably be there to see him when he crosses. Please tell Storm that
Scoob has arrived. Storm was one of two of the others that Scooby would
tolerate for a little bit.
Please, please tell Scooby how to pay me a visit because I need to know
that he'll be around once in a while. I love him so, so much. But, as
heartbroken as I am, I feel a sense of peace and gladness that he now
has shed his pain and will be happy and healthy. I am in a way content
knowing he will be trading his poor, illness ridden earthly body for a
nice new pair of wings.
Goodbye my Scooby boy. I hope you were happy here with me. I'm glad you
got to go to the bridge doing the thing you loved the most, rocking in
the rocking chair with your face buried in my hand. Oh, Scooby always
does "wipey face" after he has his soup, so you may have to be the one
who holds the towel for him while he wipes his chin.
I wish we could have had so much more time with me. I wish I had had
you from the time you were a kit, but I tried to make sure you had a
lifetime of forever mommie love and kissies, and hugs. I will miss you
more than you know, probably more than I know. Please remind him of
that could you?
Thank you SaraFerret. Please take good care of my baby, oh I know you
will.
Be free now Scoobers, run, and jump, and play, be healthy and happy
like never before. Thank you for being such a sweet boy, such an angel.
Now you are an angel with wings and I bet you're lovin' it!
Goodbye Scooby boy. Mommie loves you, always and forever. You will live
on in my heart until we are together again.
