If you are coming to the Massachusetts Ferret Friends (MaFF) frolic this
Sunday (and even if you're not) be sure to turn your clocks back one hour
if you're in one of those time zones (you know who you are!) Extra sleep,
yay!

Info on the frolic is at:
<http://maferrets.org>
See you there!

Several people have written recently about not having enough time for their
ferrets. Here is my suggestion...have the ferrets live in a room instead
of a cage. This way, they still can run around even if you're not there.
You can get very creative with plexiglas or half door barriers to block off
a room without a door, or so that you can see them and they can see you,
and not be so isolated. It's easier than you think and will make your
ferrets happier, a win-win situation for everyone.

P.S. We are in immediate need of a foster home or a permanent home for a
12-year-old indoor male cat whose owner is going into assisted living.
This cat deserves better than to lose his home after 12 years. Please
contact me if you can help, even if for a couple of months till we find him
a permanent home. Thanks very much! (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode
Island preferred; southern Maine, NH, VT ok too)
