Mike will be cremated sometime next week.

Then, probably the week after that but maybe two weeks, there will be
a memorial service depending on what is needed for far away family
members who can not travel easily.

At this point there is not a schedule. Wanda Janke will be contacting
me with the information once they have memorial service details.

Flowers may be sent to their home, but donations are urged.

People asked where donations may be made and I asked Wanda. Because
Mike cared deeply for ferret health issues and for shelters it is
asked that donations be made in memory of Mike Janke to

The Ferret Pathology Project of Michigan State
Care of Dr. Matti Kiupel, PhD, DACVP
Michigan State University Department of Pathobiology and Diagnostic
Investigations
Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health

or to this umbrella organization which helps shelters:

Support Our Shelters
c/o Judith White
100 Walsh Road
Lansdowne PA 19050

http://www.supportourshelters.org/SOS1.html

Those are both tax deductible.

If you prefer to give directly to another shelter or ferret medical
research project like others Mike has talked about in the past,
please, feel completely free to do so.

Notifications should be sent to:

The Janke Family
11930 SW 131st Ave.
Miami, FL 33186

and those who prefer to send flowers may send the flowers to that same
address.

If you know others who want this information, please, feel free to
share this post unchanged and in its entirety.
