Hi all,
 
This is to announce the opening of a new, fully licensed shelter in the
State of Maine.
 
Ferret Rescue of Maine, received it's first State license today,
(12-19-01) and will begin legally working for the welfare of ALL
ferrets in the state of Maine.
 
We will not discriminate between healthy and/or sick animals...all are
welcome and will be treated as equals.
 
As with most/all shelters, we are open to any and all monetary donations,
as well as expert advice, and suggestions.  All monies raised or donated
will be used strictly for the health and welfare of the shelter ferrets.
 
We look forward to working with any and all shelters in the New England
area, should the opportunity present itself.
