Sorry this is a little late for the thread - meant to send it last Friday.

I haven't read Modern Ferret or the other glitzier ad mag, but, just from
what I've read lately, I'm going to subscribe to MF!! Sounds like it's
the one with the heart. I don't go in for commercial products: we
make our own cages, litter pans, etc., but I would like to peek into the
commercial mag.

What if the person who had so many layout criticisms for MF turned them into
productive suggestions?? Or even volunteered to help? I've never been very
visually oriented, more of a word person, and admire the ability of some
people to see things I don't - good vs. bad graphics, etc. (that is until
they start pointing things out to me - *YAWN*, complaining, noise hitting
the ceiling). I've always been more content-oriented too - if it's a cute
pic of a fur lizard, oh, so what if the ferrite is way up in the lefthand
corner with a huge black yawning carpet all around. I've worked on
publications and know what it takes to get one out - and writing is really
really tough.

Thanks to Modern Ferret Mag

P.S. Haven't heard a peep about the LOS magazine, is it called Ferret
Digest, to which I may subscribe. Am curious if it is more of a
newsletter or a magazine. Thank you all and especially BIG - Christmas
isn't even here and you're lost in a blizzard of e-mail "gifts"... ;)
