I want to thank everybody that responded with information and kind words,
specially Jackie and Audrey however everything I did was too late for our
beloved Mickey, we had to make the hardest decison and he passed sunday
at 1.19 pm in the arms of the people that loved him so.

This is a horrible disease that can either come from genetics but then it
manifest as babies or the acquired which is what my baby had it is very
rare but it happens, diet plays a key role as I was told by 2 vets and a
website, the website deals with humans but from the description it can
also apply to animals. The first thing you notice is the weakness in one
or several extremities, by that time the disease is almost imposible to
cure and for a while you may not see other simptoms,in Myckey's case he
came to me on 1/28/06 like if he was trying to throw up, he was treated
for an upset stomach and later for the flu. Well it wasn't that.

My poor baby went thru so much in his short life that I was willing to
do anything to give him another spring but he was suffering and clinging
to a body that just would not respond. So now I have another companion
waiting for me when my time comes.
