In no way do I claim to be a expert, but this sounds extremely serious,
is their anyway you can borrow some $$ to get that ferret to a vet?  IMO
that ferret needs to go to a vet ASAP!!!
 
Either borrow the $$ or perhaps arrange payments with the vet, some vets
are very good with working out a payment plan, but please take that
ferret to a vet NOW.
