For those of you who mention cleaning the ferret cage with bleach.
 
Chlorox is a disinfectant and will work well for this HOWEVER you should
dilute the bleach - 1 ounce bleach to 30 ounces of water.  Please be careful
that the ferrets don't drink this while you clean as it will cause stomach
distress.  I would suggest that you DO NOT use full strength bleach as in
it's concentrated state it will leave residue that your ferret may ingest.
Remember that ferrets think cleaning solutions are great treats... much like
dogs will drink antifreeze.
