I hope and pray that this situation ends. That together we can bring it
to a proper end, with justice if not for Doug at least for the ferrets
and minks.

Please let's unite and use the information that some have rounded up to
see where efforts can be put to legally stop his operation. Let's also
all put aside monetary wise what we can for the day that will hopefully
come, when the rescue takes place.

I agree that these ferrets should not be bought. Not just because it's
money in Doug's pocket, but because it is profit that will help him
continue to run this breeding farm. As sad and horrific as it is,
buying them is hurting the cause. I'm not saying that if I was there
seeing the ferrets that I wouldn't want to buy whoever I could to help
at least them. But it's like the sad pet store poem, that saving that
one only continues it for all the others. If there was an end in sight,
then yes, I would buy every last one I could, but it is a cycle and I
don't want to help it continue.

But if a rescue is able to take place I will donate all I can to see
to it that all the ferrets are removed safely, given proper medical
attentions, and sheltered humanely.

Please let's work together. Let's trust in those closest to the scene,
those with experience in rescues with authorities, and those who have
connections with these breeders. Please let's unite for a cohesive
fight and see this through.

Risa
