I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful supportive emails..so many
folks I haven't spoke to in so long...everyone seems to have come out of
the wood work.
 
I received a suggestion today and I quote,"Had you done this right, I
would have called called the Department of Fish & Game, they would have
worked with animal control with the "registered" shelters and done a
"Swoop" confiscation.  The last time I checked, ferrets were neither
fish nor game, but hey, who am I to question what might actually be a
suggestion towards accomplishing the goal.
 
At this point, I'm willing to entertain even the most seemingly
ridiculous of ideas so I place a friendly inquiry to the Dept. of Fish &
Game.......after they got done transferring me three times........and
laughing...........I was referred right back to Animal Control-the
proper authority,( in case anyone has any confusion regarding the two
authorities, let my experience in futility clear this up for you.  )
 
Now my brain hurts and I'm stuck with 4 tickets to the Department of
Natural Resources Save The Beavers Ball.  Whatever will I wear?
