I am replying to the post about animal control.

Well there are a couple of things you can do, and they are quite painless!!

1. a rice box, it is fun and the when they roll and dig in the rice it
seems to help with the smell, maybe I am imagining it, but I have
definitely noticed it!!

2. A bath for your ferrets in flour. This also really works without drying
out their skin, or causing their body to think they have to produce more of
the smelly oils. The non mess way to do it is get a pillow case or a bag
of some sort put flour in it and let the ferrets roll around in it.

3.Use baking soda in the bottom of the litter box. Also woodstove pellets
have a nice aroma to them.

4.Candles, candles, candles even the unscented ones work to help the air
smell better, just remember to put them out of reach of curious noses!!
You can also get potpourri burners.

5. Glad Plug-ins - this however is not an option for people who have
sensitivity to perfumes, I find the plugins quite perfumy and cannot
use them myself.

Well that is all my advice for now hopefully something will be of help to
you.
