Where can you go to find more than 400 ferrets in one place? The 2006
Winter Nationals Ferret Competition at the York Fairgrounds in York, PA
on December 1 & 2 , that's where! Local ferrets, as well as ferrets
from all over the country, will be competing for top honors at this
Winter Nationals Competition

The American Ferret Association, Inc. (AFA) will be holding their 2006
Winter Nationals Ferret Competition, on December 1 & 2 at the York
Fairgrounds located in York, PA. The show will open to the public on
Friday at 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday at 10:00 am until 5:00
pm. Over 400 ferrets will be judged in the title and specialty classes.
Only pre-registered entries are allowed for championship and specialty
judging. Only those ferrets entered in or for sale will be allowed in
the hall.

Friday will feature educational seminars and Saturday will be the title
class show. Vendors will be available both days for your shopping
convenience. Free admission on Friday.

Major ferret vendors and clubs from across the country will be selling
items especially designed for ferrets and their owners. Ferret rescues
will have ferrets for adoption and ferret breeders will have kits for
sale. This is a great opportunity to purchase ferret specific holiday
items for your ferret or ferret fancier.

If you are considering adding a ferret to your family or are just
curious about these delightful and wonderful creatures, please do not
miss this opportunity! Free educational materials will be available for
the new and experienced ferret fancier. Be sure to attend! Saturday
admission donation is $5.00 16 & up, $2.00 for children 7 to 15, under
7 free. The York Fairgrounds is located at 334 Carlisle Street, York,

at the show. Your company name will appear on each of the ribbons 
for the class (30 ribbons for championship classes, 20 for premier
and specialty classes). You'll also be entitled to a full page
advertisement in the 2006 Winter Nationals Ferret Competition show
catalog. This year our show is a day and a half event! We will be
hosting educational seminars open to the public and exhibitors on
Friday afternoon. Jeanne Carley will be doing her Ferret Photography
101 session; Bob Church will be doing his Ferret Enrichment session;
Dr. Ruth Heller, DVM and ferret owner will be doing an 'Advanced Ferret
Wellness & Care session. Vendors will also have this extra time to
increase their sales.

The 2006 Winter Nationals Ferret Competition show catalog is the
perfect place to advertise your company's products or services. 
AFA members and exhibitors are always interested in the latest
ferret-related products, services, or information, and in
ferret-friendly vets. In addition, your paid advertisement entitles
you to a free placement of promotional materials on the AFA 
"information table." Suitable items include business cards, product
