I have one of the big red ferret balls.  Out on the floor they rarely
played in it.  Then I added it to their popcorn dig box and it sprung a
new life.  They love it in there!!  They use it as a perch to play attack
from.  They hide in the bottom and launch out at a nearby foot.  It is
really cute.  Sometimes when they really get going to war there will be
two ferts inside the ball and two ferts trying to get in.  Mouths open,
they dart out like little snakes striking at prey.  They really like
their ferret ball as an addition to the box.
