Luci continues to improve! She's back to eating solids. I hand feed
her A/D twice a day but she no longer eats the same volume as she used
to. She's off all her meds except 0.1 cc preg. BID (not sure of
concentration).

Unfortunately after dicussion with the vet we have come to several
sobering hypotheses. Luci's crash post surgery and hair-loss from neck
down (neck is completely bald, upper torso is thin and shedding) is
likely due to adrenal disease. We decided not to treat for that yet.
There were several nodules on Luci's pancreas, but the vet for unknown
reasons didn't biopsy. We think its probably pancreatic carcinoma which
is of course fatal.

Right now she is stable but my thought is that we have at best a year
left with her. I'd be happy with two years, which would be close to her
natural lifespan (she's 4 years old). Regardless we'll try to manage
the best we can. At least our other ferret, Angel, is as healthy as a
horse!
