Hi all!
I thought I would add my ferrets' names to this thread. I have two boys,
Kif and Trevor. My boyfriend actually named both of them.

Kif: I bought him in a pet store in FL during a vacation. Knew nothing
about ferrets, but he taught me quickly! He's a mutt-a little bit
champagne, a little cinnamon, and some silver. No mask. He is named
after a dog in the book by Robert Adams, Plague Dogs. It doesn't really
represent anything, but Shanon (my boyfriend) really liked it...and so
did I.

Trevor: Seven months after I got Kif, a woman called the pet store I worked
in, saying she had "found something in my front yard and I want to know
what to do with it." I wondered what it was and after coaxing a description
from her, decided it must be a ferret. I went to get him, and after no
luck finding an owner, decided to know him Trovo. It was my own take on
the italian word for "found." Well, that lasted for about a week. Everyone
wanted to know what it meant. Shanon then suggested naming him Trevor,
similar but with no need to explain. So, Trevor stuck...and now, when
people ask, the story is even longer!!!

Give all your ferrets kisses for me.
Jacki
